Product Designer, automotive industry. Vast experience in sheet metal components, IP brackets, door trim “B” side components, wire harness design, and tooling design. Software experience includes CATIA V5, Team Center Engineering (TCE), Digital Buck, Ford’s CPSC product structure. Mechanical Desktop and Inventor.

Redesigned existing metal spray equipment for improved serviceability. Designed custom metal spraying fixtures. Designed cooling heads that prolongs the life of metal spray guns and cools the part being sprayed. Designed custom gearbox systems used in harnessing ocean wave energy. Designed portable, solar powered water distillation units for a research project.

Attended various Mechanical Training programmes includes UGS TCe Training, CATIA V5 Solid Modeling, CATIA V5 Wireframe & Surfacing , Advanced Drafting, Descriptive Geometry, Metallurgy

Extensive use of Ford’s CPSC product structure. A solid working knowledge of electrical wire harness tools across two software platforms. Ability to combine 3-D solid modeling and surfacing with years of experience in the automotive stamping industry to produce quality product designs.

First place winner of Cadalyst Magazine’s “Professional Still” Product Design Competition in 2003.
