The Oscillo Drive
The Oscillo Drive is a device that takes any oscillating movement and converts it into a constant one-way motion.
The Oscillo Drive name encompasses a number of devices ranging from gearboxes to belt driven converters. What all of these devices have in common is that they all achieve the same goal.
In the case of ocean waves, the O-Drive is able to capture the energy of a wave pushing a float upward and use that energy to turn a driveshaft clockwise. When the wave passes, the float is pushed down through the forces of gravity and cavitation. The O-Drive is then able to take that downward energy and use it, once again, to turn a driveshaft clockwise.
Up or down, left or right, forward or backward, the O-Drive is able to take any oscillating movement and turn it into a steady one-way motion.
Because of the nature of the device, models of the O-Drive are able to be built at any size and for almost any application. It’s an entirely scalable, mechanical device that does not rely on any computers or electronics.
